REVIEW and making adjustments from plan are essential factors to be considered in the examination and modification of balancing accomplishments and setbacks as a crucial part of progress analysis, learning and improvement in the process of identifying areas for growth and development, adaptability in the capacity to adjust to new information, challenges, or developments, better decision-making, making decisions in the future based on knowledge and insights, and encouraging open communication to discuss problems and issues that hinder in the achievement of quality outputs.
National Teachers and Employees Cooperative Bank (NTECB) conducted a strategic plan review for adjustment on November 15-16, 2024. Action and implementation plans were prepared by the different workshop groups.
Group 1 (Fund Management) is composed of Dir. Aniano T. Bautista, Dir Salustiano T. Jimenez, Dir Enrico D. Zerna, Daisy A. Rosero, and BS Ma. Maya V. Tumalon; Group 2 (Asset/Liability Management) is composed of Dir Bianito A. Dagatan, Dir Marilyn S. Andales, Dir Belinda B. Maravilla, Jennie Lyn A. Gilbuela, and Remel Rico T. Eumage; Group 3 (Operational/Risk Management) is composed of Dir Ronald G. Gutay, Dir John Roy G. Ravina, Dir Shiela G. Dela Cruz, Honie E. Canque, and Christian Cutamora; Group 4 (Compliance Risk Management) with Dir Nimfa D. Bongo, Dir Lorna E. Rances, CO Victoria O. Mondila, and Jessie Jame Q. Navarro; and Group 5 (Marketing and Capital Build-Up Management) with Dir Leonilo B. Oliva, Dir Manuel F. Biongcog, Dir Rhea Mar A. Angtud, and AGM Tarhata Resente.
The two-day activity started with problem identification, presentation of outputs, problem analysis, presentation of outputs, and strategy formulation (still a group work activity). The second day started with a recap of the first day’s activities, strategy formulation and action planning were conducted.
Budgeting and presentation of budget served as the final activities of the two-day strategic plan review.
One of the concerns raised by Dir Dagatan is how to address challenges in the implementation of internal policies. The group members positively in respond to the issues, concerns, and gaps presented. Chair Recaredo G. Borgonia, Dir Rhea Mar Angtud, and General Manager Mary Faith Alvez facilitated the activities.
In his message, NTECB BOD Chair Recaredo G. Borgonia emphasizes in the acronym TEAM, “Together Everyone Achieves More”.
