THE awareness on suicide was among the issues included along with domestic violence in the latest Bohol Poll.
Bohol Poll said that “the awareness on suicide was highest among the voters in urban areas (with 39%) and from Tagbilaran City, 33%.”
In the whole province, the “suicide had relatively high awareness level at 25%,” it said.
The suicide awareness level among males is at 25% and females, 26%, while 3rd district was lowest at 17%.
Bohol PNP gets net +55%
Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Bohol got a trust rating of a net +57% out of 62% trust or “much trust,’ Bohol Poll said in its latest public presentation on Friday.
“A slight majority (62%) of the Boholano voters said that they had “much trust” on the Bohol PNP, while a few (7%) said they had “little trust”, resulting in a net trust rating of +55%.”
It got highest trust score of net +71 in second district; in rural areas, +58%; class E, +57, males, +60 and 18-24 age group, +69.
Fifty-seven (57%) percent of the survey respondents said they were satisfied with the PNP’s performance in the fight against illegal drugs and 20% dissatisfied giving the PNP the net satisfaction of +37.
Satisfaction rating among variables, third district gave PNP +44; rural areas, +40; class E, +46; among males, +42; and 18-24 age group, +67.
“In the PNP’s effort to fight crimes such as robbery, theft and murder/homicide, six (6) of 10 (63%) were satisfied, while a few (14%) were dissatisfied.”
The net performance rating of the PNP is +49. The net performance rating is highest in district 3 (+55); in rural areas, +50; class ABC, +54; and from females, +54; and 35-44 age group, +53. (rvo)
