We can all agree that the official campaign period started with a bang. Some began by attending the holy mass at their local parishes, some with motorcades and announcements around their municipalities, while some others started by throwing dirt on their competitors! Now, that is what I call a POLITICAL party indeed!
Bad joke aside, we are all thankful that nothing big of an incident nor scandal happened locally… yet.
We can assume that incumbent officials and aspirants are on full-throttle in the hopes of retaining and/or claiming their future seats. Just be mindful that the political campaign of the past do not almost apply to recent times due to technology.
As every host of a competition almost always say during openings, “Let us be civil, let us play fair and square, and let the games begin!”
