THE municipal mayor, vice-mayor, members of the Sangguniang Bayan and employees from Valencia, Bohol, are gearing up to sign a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Valencia City, Bukidnon.
The City Government of Valencia invited esteemed delegates from Valencia, Bohol to participate in their 23rd Charter Day Celebration on January 12, 2024.
The highlight of this celebratory event will be the ceremonial signing of the MOU, symbolizing the commitment of both Valencias to a future brimming with cooperation, exchange, and collective progress.
Last October 2023, department heads of Valencia City, Bukidnon, paid a visit to Valencia, Bohol, during its Foundation Celebration in a significant step towards forging a partnership.
This early interaction between department heads and staff from Valencia City served as a forerunner to the upcoming MOU signing, laying the groundwork for a blossoming relationship between the two Valencias.
The approval for this agreement was granted by the Sangguniang Panlungsod, authorizing the City Mayor to engage in this partnership. (Crystal Pearl Cagadas)
