CONGRESSWOMAN Vaanessa C. Aumentado pushes for providing livelihood program by facilitating funding from national government agencies concerned.

This came as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) released funds in the form of checks amounting to P2,519,712.00 for various people’s organizations on Friday.

The following beneficiaries are: Santa Clara Organic Farmers Association, Barngay Sta. Cruz, Daghoy, Bohol, 993,696.00; Babag farmers Association, brgy. Babag, Dagohoy, Bohol, P653,416.00; Hugpong sa Mag-uuma nga Maampingon sa Kalikupan sa San Miguel (HMMSK), Barangay Mahayag, San Miguel, P499,472.00; and Ubojan Sagbayan Farmers Association (Barangay Ubojan, Sagbayan), P373,128.00.

Congresswoman Aumentado expressed gratitude to DOLE family and to DOLE provincial head Lulu Cantona, Joveline Requinto, Jason Pondoc, and Provincial Livelihood Coordinator Lita Verenio and Asst. Coordinator Gaye Mabanag for being industrious.

She also congratulated the officers and members of the association-beneficiaries for the effort that somehow came to fruition.

She likewise thanked former former Dagohoy Mayor Moloy Apat and the representative of Gov. Aris Aumentado, her husband, San Miguel Vice-Mayor Lito Bulaga and Sagbayan Mayor Junjun Suarez for their support. (rvo)
