CONCESSIONAIRES at the Old Airport drew P19.1 million in revenues throughout the Sandugo celebration in July.
This is the peak earning for this year from a previous high of P1.1 million last March.
The Bohol Economic Development Investment and Promotion Office (BEDIPO) reported that the food concessionaires at the old airport earned a total revenue of P17,568,745.12 million for the month of July, both for regular concessionaires and Sandugo booths.
The Fusion Nights event meanwhile posted P1,590,839.53M for the 16 concessionaires in the period July 21-July 30.
In awarding ceremonies last July 30, 2023, the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) through the BEDIPO in partnership with the Bohol Association of Hotels Resorts and Restaurants (BAHRR) awarded Fusion Nights participants that included Wing Master Silog, BREWHOL, Astoria Bohol, Danny’s Asian Fusion Wine & Dine, Tabok Bistro, Seafood Kingdom, Kew Hotel, Modala Beach Resort, The Bellevue Resort, Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Resort, Blue Plate, The Lemon Co., Seafront Grill & Restaurant, The Shawarma Shack, Harbour City, and Bohol Purple Women.
Top Grossers were Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Resort, Kew Hotel, and Seafood Kingdom.
Best Booth Awards were given to Kew Hotel; The Bellevue Resort – also awarded Most Hospitable Booth; and Blue Plate.
Recognized for the Best Ubi Dishes were Kew Hotel for their Ubi Grilled Chicken with Hollandaise Sauce, Seafood Kingdom for their Mixed Seafood Ubi in Spicy Coconut, and The Bellevue Resort for their Ubi Pao.
On its 8th run, Fusion Nights, which showcases some of the province’s best food offerings, is part of the Tabo activity stream of the Sandugo celebration.
It is also one of the programs supporting Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) development and entrepreneurship of the PGBh under the leadership of Governor Aris Aumentado and Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite whose strategic governance roadmap fosters a business-enabling environment towards economic activity.
