Pintoras is back on the drawing board

PINTORAS is an art workshop focusing on painting and drawing thru 20 sessions of enjoyable learning through the arts. It started July 24 and will end on August 2023 held at Garcia-Hernandez Central Elementary School.

The first Pintoras session started in the summer of 2015, was stopped by the pandemic in 2019, and then reopened this year in July 2023.

Pintoras was created by Melchor Virador and John Mc Rae Racines, two Garcianhon artists.

All kids ages 6 to 15 who are eager to learn and develop their artistic abilities are welcome to attend this class.

Through engaging activities, students learn fundamental drawing and painting techniques.

Parents paid for the supplies needed to keep the workshop going.

Children who took part in our Pintoras art workshop have achieved success in the field of art competitions.

Melchor Virador said this workshop also teaches students how to create cartoons and posters, two skills that students artists typically seek for coaching.

And I’m quite glad to say that Pintora’s art workshop generates students who become competitive in this field, said John Mc Rae Racines. (rvo)
