PHILIPPINE’s pride Pauline Amelinckx garnered the 1st runner-up in recently concluded Miss Supranational 2023 during the grand coronation night held at Strzelecki Park in Nowy Sacz of Poland’s Malopolska region, according to report of the Philippine Star.
“This is the country’s highest placement since Mutya Datul won the crown in 2013,” it said.
The 14th Miss Supranational crown was won by Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador “at the close of the glitzy rites by outgoing queen Lalela Mswane of South Africa.
Congresswoman Vanessa C. Aumentado has extended her congratulations to Philippines hopeful Pauline C. Amelinckx for garnering the first runner-up in Miss Supranational 2023.
“Congratulations, Pauline Cucharo Amelinckx for winning Miss Supranational 2023 First Runner-Up,” with three heart emojis, Congw. Aumentado said in her facebook post.
The lady solon expressed gratitude to Amelinkcx “for representing our beautiful country. So proud of you! You will always be our queen. We love you, Pau.”
Second runner-up went to Sancler Frantz of Brazil. And Emma Collingridge of the United Kingdom, 3rd runner-up and Ngan Dang Thanh of Vietnam, 4th runner-up.
Hopefuls of the Dominican Republic, India, Puerto Rico, Netherlands, Mexico, Peru and Gibraltar made it to the Top 12.
Sanhile Dube of Zimbabwe (Africa), who also won the Top Model challenge; Pragnya Ayyagari of India (Asia); Valeria Flores of Peru (The Americas); Andreina de Andrade Pereira of Curacao (Caribbean); and Michelle Lopez Desoisa of Gibraltar (Europe) who made it to Five lucky delegates were also crowned as continental ambassadors.
