THE City Health Office is regularly conducting its core activities, one of which is the FREE flu vaccination among the senior citizens. This free vaccination is part of the continuous precautionary measures against the threat of COVID-19.
The City Government of Tagbilaran also provided free flu vaccine to the City Government employees and kids below 5 years old.
City Health Officer Dr. Jeia Pondoc along with her team from the City Health Office (CHO) is administering the flu shot.
City Mayor Jane Yap said this vaccination can provide additional protection against the virus.
According to studies, flu vaccination can also help improve our immune response which puts us in a better position to protect ourselves from getting infected with viruses.
Dr. Pondoc reiterated that this is also a reinforcement of the City Government’s COVID-19 vaccination program. Those interested are advised to coordinate with their Barangay Health Centers.
