SOME people are still asking – ma-impeach kaha si Inday Sara?
The answer is Yes, she was impeached because the HOR has already transmitted the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate.
But she cannot be removed from her position yet as VP because conviction in the senate trial is still uncertain.
Under the constitution, 16 YES votes are needed to convict her.
Up to now, that possibility remains just that – a possibility, not yet a certainty.

With the recent shake-up in the senate, where Eat Bulaga was removed and Senator Alan Cayetano was installed as the new senate president, that possibility now hangs in limbo because the group of Cayetano now commands 13 members or 13 NO votes, hence, the magic 16 yes votes become impossible.

Many people are getting the hit when they listened to the video of mediaman and now senator Erwin Tulfo when he orally lambasted senators Riza Hontiviros and former senator Trillanes.
Di makaog iro ang banat ni Tulfo sa duha ka senador nga gitawag niyag “mga hinayupak.”
This time around, they are “chummy” with Tulfo defending Riza’s lack of legal background as “foul” kuno.
Pagka-botboton gyod aning hinampak.

A local media recalled the time when a former congressman fondly called Insik lambasted him for the Yes votes of the congressman for VP Sara’s impeachment.
Sayop kuno.
Why?
Because he abstained kuno and under HOR rules, ang abstention is equivalent to a No vote kuno.
Aguy.

Gustong magpa-believe?
Susko, klaro kaayo nga before sa actual nominal voting, ang Insik misulti nga Yes vote siya.
Pasabot, mianib siya sa mga tongresista nga gusto palagputon si VP Sara.
Kon ngano nga “absent” siya during the actual nominal voting, ang ok-ok ray bugtong nasayod.

Ngano man kaha?

A tongresman said he wants to avoid seeing “Charice” in the HOR because he voted No and “Charice” is now the one “running the show” in the HOR.
Initially confused, I asked Mayor Baste Duterte who he referred to in his speech as the “Charice” in the HOR.
Kana gong gamayon nga tongresman nga morag hawod kaayo nga parehas og nawong ni Charice P, he answered.
Ay ginoo, ag kadtong diayng San___?
Anyway, this “Charice” was reported as “doing the rounds” prior to the nominal voting in the HOR.
According to Mayor Baste, ang kada Yes vote kuno was 20M outright, plus 3M per month for 1 year plus 250M in infra project next year.
Kuno ha, said Mayor Baste.
The “kuno” is emphasized because “dinungog” ra pod niya from some sources.
Kon tinuod ni, perteng paldoha diay tong mi-botar og Yes?
