Saulog Bazaar 2026 prep seminar to empower MSMEs

SME SUPPORT.  Members of the Saulog Bazaar core team, led by the Yap-Jala administration, gear up for Saulog Bazaar 2026, supporting local entrepreneurs and making Tagbilaran proud!

THE City Government of Tagbilaran through the City Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (CEDIPO), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bohol Provincial Office, and the Saulog Tagbilaran organizers, will conduct a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Seminar and Orientation for Saulog Bazaar 2026 on April 6, 2026 at JJ’s Seafood Village, Tagbilaran City.

The event is expected to gather local entrepreneurs, vendors, and prospective participants of the Saulog Bazaar as part of preparations for the annual Saulog Tagbilaran Festival.

Organizers said the activity aims to equip participants with essential knowledge on business operations, food safety, and compliance with city regulations.

The morning session will include a Food Safety Seminar and an open forum to be facilitated by a DTI Bohol representative.

In the afternoon, participants will attend the orientation for Saulog Bazaar 2026, where organizers will discuss key guidelines on bazaar operations, waste management, and sales monitoring.

Another open forum will be held to address concerns and clarify policies for vendors.

Mayor Jane Yap underscored the significance of sustaining economic initiatives despite current challenges.

“Our MSMEs remain the backbone of Tagbilaran’s economy. Even as we face an energy crisis, initiatives like the Saulog Bazaar will continue to spur economic activity, generate income for small businesses, and provide livelihood opportunities for our people,” Mayor Yap said.

This activity forms part of the broader efforts of the City Government of Tagbilaran to strengthen the local business sector by ensuring an organized and sustainable Saulog Bazaar.
