“Dakong problema sa mga traydor”

THESE are tidbits of info (tsismis) from some of our friends lately, Cebu, Bohol and Manila, take note ha.

This businesswoman claimed she used to be chummy with the governor (no province lang ta, ha), every time the governor had a problem, he would come to us and seek help from us. As friends, we never wavered and offered help, sometimes we extended financial assistance, she premised.

Until the governor won the elections and got a seat in the capitol.

From then on, there was no more calls from the governor, no more over-cup-of-coffee-talks, no more, the governor simply erased us, the woman said.

Naturally, when the group gathered, the one question that lingered in our minds was – what went wrong?

And so we started probing, asking close friends, former friends, new friends and all, just to gather information.

And then we got solid information  – mao diay nga di na siya mokontak namo kay malipayon ug malinawon na man diay siya sa iyang ratsada, she said.

And what was that, I asked.

Unsa pa kondi pang-warta nga left and right.

Puyra gaba lagi nang gobernadora na, she added with stress.

A municipal mayor of Bohol is said to be facing multiple cases in the Ombudsman and in the courts, filed by incumbent councilors who belong to the opposition.

One case in the Ombudsman has already been resolved, imposing penalty and fines against the mayor. But for some reason, the implementation of the suspension order was stalled, purportedly because there was an MR filed.

Basin tungod na sa iyang bana nga negosyante unya mibayad tingali og “parking fee,” the councilor said.

The female mayor is also facing cases before the ARTA and according to their lawyer, padung na mogawas ang adverse decision against the mayor, the councilor said.

Another group of municipal councilors said their mayor right now is panicking because he is having trouble with several graft cases before the Ombudsman.

Their lawyer, the councilors said, is asking them to look for another lawyer who has “connect” to the Ombudsman para mapadali ang resolution unya mogawas na dayon ang suspension order.

Di na lang mi mangandoy anang finality of judgment of conviction, if ever, kay taas pa kaayo ang proseso ana, they said, ang tumong lang namo magawsan nang among mayor og suspension order.

Before parting, they said they already have a good idea about their next move – mangita og pondo kay para mapadali ang suspension sa ilang mayor.

When I started publishing pictures of our renewed campaign for the SAVE SARA 428 movement, it immediately gathered popular support not only in Bohol but in other provinces as well.

After all, they saw me in that momentous presscon in Manila for the failed 3rd impeachment complaint against BBM in the company of Cong/Sec Jing Paras, Cong Mike Defensor, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, Atty. Manny Luna, Atty. Harold Respicio and blogger Cathy Binag.

That was prominently featured on TV, on radio and in newspapers, including of course in the social media.

After several meetings with the group, we branched out in Cebu and I was again invited for the launching later on of the TATAY DIGONG FOR INDAY SARA 2028 movement, with Jing Paras, Jun Abines and other top PRRD leaders in Cebu.

After the meeting, I was tasked to organize the lawyers’ group, aside from continuing the expansion of the SAVE SARA 428 campaign.

Again, just like in the Manila event, the Cebu event was also prominently featured on TV, newspapers and in the social media.

Pictures of these events were right away featured in my Facebook account, and this was immediately noticed by some governors and mayors not only in Bohol but also in Cebu.

So I started receiving chats and text messages affirming their unity to the cause of Inday Sara and confirming their total support, though most of them would rather support secretly and only thru representatives.

Understandable of course.

One common question that I get these days while campaigning for Inday Sara is – duna ba kay sure nga linya to Inday Sara, labi na kay daghan kaayo nang mo-claim nga ilang grupo ang dunay linya ni Sara?

Short answer is Yes, a big Yes.

But one caveat to all of them, especially the incumbent mayors and governors – Inday Sara is Inday Sara, she is not like her father PRRD. For Inday Sara, kon kontra ta, kontra gyod ta bisan pa man kon tagdon lang gihapon taka. Meaning, bisan kon motagad lang gihapon siya sa mi-traydor kaniya, wa magpasabot nga gipasaylo na sila niya.

Mao nay problema karon, gets?
