
THE Bohol Tri-Media Association (BTMA) has chosen its new set of officers to govern the group for the period 2026-28 during the get-together/assembly held at Marilou Dumaluan Resort, Panglao on February 01, 2026.
Elected were: Tibbs Bullecer (DYRD), President; Bob Galero (anchor), Exec. Vice-president; Ric Obedencio (Bohol News Today/PhilStar), VP for Print; Lito REsponte (DYTR), VP for Broadcast); Evangeline Bumaat (DYTR), Auditor; Ariel Fullido (DYRD, anchor), Public Relations Officer (PRO).
Board of Directors is composed of Rey Tutas (DYRD), Jun Gutierrez (DYRD), Atoy Cosap (DYRD), Noel Noble, (92.7 FM) and James Daniel, (DYMA, 100.9 Jagna).
The positions of secretary and treasurer are to be appointed by the President-elect pursuant to the new Constitution and By-Laws approved/adopted by the assembly on January 2024, according to Obedencio, the past immediate president.
As a token, BTMA has conferred a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Doloreich Dumaluan for his unwavering generosity and for allowing the BTMA for free use of the part of its resort for the group’s assembly annually since 2010.
Obedencio thanked the members and his co-officers for the support extended to his leadership despite the fact he’s undergone under the knife twice in 2024 and 2025.
BTMA has initially scheduled its induction of officers on February 15, 2026 in the afternoon at Bohol Tropics Resort Club, Tagbilaran City. This has been reached during the immediate meeting called by President-elect. (rvo)
