NAGTINGUHA ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) nga matubag ang dinalian nga mga kabalaka sa turismo pinaagi sa usa ka summit.
Si Board Member Jamie Aumentado Villamor, nga naghatag ug gibug-aton sa epekto sa industriya sa turismo isip usa ka major nga ekonomikanhong drayber, miingon nga ang pagtigom sa mga stakeholders sa Bohol Tourism Summit magtugot sa pagtuki sa tinuod nga hulagway sa turismo, pag-ila sa mga hagit, ug paghimo sa usa ka hiniusang estratehiya.
Kini, ingon niya, modala ngadto sa pagpalig-on sa kakompetensya, pagpausbaw sa pamaligya, pagpauswag sa pagkadugtong ug katakus, ug pagsiguro sa pagpadayon.

“Every day of low tourist arrivals means lost opportunities for income, for jobs, and for development. The tricycle driver waiting at the port, the tour guide without guests, the resort with empty rooms, the farmer with unsold produce – all of them are affected,” sumala sa Bokal.
Ang Department of Tourism, Department of Transportation, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Philippine Ports Authority, tourism councils, airlines, resorts, tour operators, transport providers, ug community representatives mahimong mag-uban sa paglingkod ug pag-atubang sa mga isyu, dugang niya.
Dugang pa nga giaprobahan sa SP ang usa ka resolusyon nga pormal nga naghangyo sa CAAP ug Aboitiz InfraCapital sa pagklaro, pagpatin-aw, ug pagtinarong sa bisan unsang gisugyot nga usbaw sa terminal fees, ingon man sa paghimo og public dialogue sa maong butang.
Naggikan kini sa mga taho sa pagsaka sa terminal fee gikan sa P200 ngadto sa P350, nga giingong gilakip, apan wala makita, sa tiket sa ayroplano.

“We are not opposed to reasonable fees that are properly consulted, justified, and transparently explained. After all, airports require maintenance, improvements, and investments to ensure safety and quality service,” nagkamnayon si Villamor sa iyang privilege speech.

Gitugotan usab sa SP ang pagsulod sa Probinsiya sa Bohol sa usa ka Memorandum of Agreement uban sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 7, sa Local Government Unit sa Bien Unido, ug sa organisasyon sa katawhan nga Nagkahiusang Gagmayng Mananagat sa Pinamgo.
Kini alang sa pagtukod og seaweed dryer facility, nga nagtumong sa paghatag ug importanteng serbisyo sa pagsuporta sa mga mag-uuma sa seaweed.
Sa samang regular nga sesyon nga gipangulohan ni Bise Gobernador Nick Besas, niadtong Martes, Septiyembre 23, giuyonan sa SP ang akreditasyon sa dugang mga kooperatiba, non-government organizations, civil society organizations, ug people’s organizations.
