CebuPac revolutionizes air travel

GET ready for an air-ride of life as Cebu Pacific is revolutionizing air travel, says Carmina Romero, director for Corporate Communications of Cebu Pacific.

The stage is set for an electrifying introduction of CebuPac air bus of the century of some 12 of them.

This may not be necessarily a chapter in the growing rivalry between CebuPac and other players in the air industry.

This surfaced during the media roundtable press briefing held Sept.11, 2025 at Amorita Resort, Alona beach, Panglao town.

In its press release, Cebu Pac is boosting connectivity from Bohol with more flight seats.

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, continues to bring Bohol closer to the rest of the country as it further boosts its connectivity and capacity from the province, reinforcing its position as the largest airline to connect the island to key local destinations.

Currently, CEB operates a total of five routes from Bohol, including Manila, Clark, Iloilo, Davao, and El Nido via AirSWIFT.

In December, the airline is set to increase its flight frequencies to some destinations from Bohol, with up to 5x daily flights to Manila, 7x weekly flights to El Nido, and 4x weekly flights to Iloilo.

Starting November 16, CEB will also operate 7x weekly flights between Manila and Bohol using the 459-seater A330neo aircraft, allowing the airline to carry more passengers on this route. This expansion brings CEB’s total capacity for Bohol to 105,000 seats this December from 93,000 seats at the start of the year, up by 13%. Flights servicing the province will also increase by 12% for the same period.

“Cebu Pacific remains committed to making Bohol even more accessible for both local and international travelers. By adding more capacity and enhancing connectivity to and from Bohol, we are not only supporting the growing demand for travel but also helping drive tourism and economic activity in the province. This stronger connectivity allows us to open more opportunities for communities, while giving our passengers more options to fly conveniently and affordably,” said Carmina Romero, Cebu Pacific Director for Corporate Communications.

To encourage travel, CEB is currently running a seat sale until September 15 allowing travelers to book flights to select domestic and international destinations for as low as PHP 299 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges. This seat sale will allow travelers to fly until March 31, 2026, perfect for those who are planning for their vacations next year.

CEB operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Passengers may book their flights and purchase add-ons through CEB’s multiple payment options, including credit and debit cards, as well as e-wallets. Book your flights now https://bit.ly/CebuPacificSale. (rvo)
