THE Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bohol Provincial Police Office in coordination with the Dauis town police authorities has seized the suspected ‘shabu’ weighing 2,020 grams estimated to be worth Php13,736,00.00 and drug paraphernalia in a buy-bust operation.
The said buy-bust took place at past one in the early morning of July 10 in Purok 1, barangay Songculan, Dais town, where the Regional Top Priority High Value Individuals (RTPHVI) Jose Ever Campana Dalogdog and Bebiano Oribia were arrested.
The duo are identified as Dalogdog alias “Ever,” 39 years old, Filipino, male, married, fisherman, native of Purok 3, Barangay Mantatao, Calape, Bohol, and his companion, Oribia, 37 years old, male, single, fisherman, and a native of Purok 2, Barangay Mantatao, Calape, Bohol, police said.
The arrested persons, who are now under the custody of Dauis Municipal Police Station, are facing charges in violation of sections 5 & 11, Art. II of RA 9165 before the office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Tagbilaran City, the report said.
Among the confiscated items include one piece of medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; Ten pieces of large size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; and four pieces of medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
