THE now most sought-after entertainer Mindanao-based called Elias J. TV may be facing legal charges for alleged refusing to stage a show in May 26 if the Garcia-Hernandez town organizing committee makes true its threat.
The committee said that it already booked in advance Elias J. TV to show on May 16, a day before its foundation celebration the following day. In fact, the committee has already paid the reservation fee, which the committee did not say how much. It added the early booking was made with the old management of Elias and now it has a new management that allegedly did not honor its commitment.
The committee said it is studying if it would push with the legal action against Elias to take back the reservation fee.
Mayor Norman “Tata” Palacio, in behalf of Bilar town constituents, expressed disappointment over the apparent failure of the most-sought after Elias J. TV to stage on May 16, 2025 a paid entertainment show as part of the town fiesta on May 15, 2025.
But Elias personally apologized in a live announcement on his facebook account to the townsfolk and the mayor for his and company’s delayed flight from Manila, which he said ‘he was not in control of the situation’.
The Bilar town supposed-show was not the only which experienced of the non-showing of Elias J. TV, but also the Mogbongcogon, Banaybanay, Davao Oriental on May 15, 2025, which invited him too for the entertainment.
Just recently, Provincial Board Member Atty. Jamie Villamor denounces the alleged jokes in entertainment by a certain Elias Lintucan, a.k.a. Elias J. TV.
Villamor said in her facebook post, “As someone who has spent years fighting for the protection of children and justice for victims, I strongly condemn the recent so-called “jokes” made by Elias during his performance.”
Elias is a native of a Manobo tribe in Magpit, North Cotabato. He is not only a frontman of reggae Kalumad Band but also an influential vlogger. He has three-old son with her live-in partner, a teacher, according to Chito Samontan’s live online interview. (Ric Obedencio)
