New leaders foretold in LGU- Valencia, Bohol Province and Philippines

THE One Events Management and Consulting conducted an Opinion Poll/Survey to 500 respondents utilizing random proportionate allocation from a total population of 18k registered voters with the following

Demographics:  56% Male, 42.11 Female and 1.89% LGBTQA; On age bracket: 31 to 45 years old constituted 36.13% followed by 31.51%  (46-60 yrs) and 18.07% and 14.29% for the youth and senior citizens respectively.

Income Level:  70.47% declared they have below 5k monthly income, an aggregate of 29.1% earning 10k to  20k up and 0.43% with more than 20k.

Education:  Most Valencianhon had High School diploma with 55..32% , 19.57% college level as against 25.11% who are primary and elementary level.

80.88% said they have television set and 19.12% do not have. This question was raised to determine how well informed they are on national and local issues. 99.58% of the respondents said they can vote vs. 0.42 who cannot.

On the question whom they’ll prefer between young and matured adult to manage an LGU? 51.98% voted the latter while 48.02 favored the former. Further, they were asked to choose between Bag-ohan o Hana’s sa Serbisyo;  63.60% said they will go for anad or hanas while 36.40% to a newcomer.

On the question who they think could manage well, a Male at 75.18%< Female at 24.22% and LGBTQA at 0.63%. A person with long proven service record is preferred than a candidate with high or well educated at 49.40%.

Winning Candidates:

For Mayor of Valencia:

Frontrunner is Balite at 54.60%, Garcia at 29.50% and Balingkit at 25.19%.

For the Province:

Governor: Aumentado at 67.65% and Yap at 32.35%. Vice Governor: Balite prevails over Relampagos at 73.25% and 26.75% respectively.

National:

The tandem of BBM-SARA took the lead at 81.51% followed by Leni-Kiko with a distant  13.14%  and the remainder is shared among 3 aspirants. The percentage of error is in the margin of +/- 5%.

On the question what social issues of programs they like best and shall be addressed upon assumption to office, the following are ranked. Rank 1 is Livelihood or Panginabuhi at 71.79%, #2 Edukasyon at 34.74%, #3 is Health or Panglawas followed by Infrastructure and other Social Services.

The survey was conducted in a full day a week ago in all of the 35 barangays of Valencia with enumerators coming from outside the town of Valencia. The survey was done with utmost impartiality and applied highest ethical standards in the execution of the process. May God bless all the candidates. The voice of the people is the voice of God.
