Miss Booy crowned Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2025

IN a night filled with elegance, energy, and empowerment, Bvhlgryl Chelsea Bariñan of Barangay Booy was crowned Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2025 during the grand Coronation Night held on April 23, 2025, at the Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium.

Bariñan emerged victorious among 15 candidates representing the city’s barangays after a series of pre-pageant events that included advocacy presentations, talent competitions, and on-stage interviews.

Her beauty, grace, and advocacy earned her the highest recognition in Tagbilaran’s most prestigious pageant.

Joining her in the Top 5 were:

• First Runner-Up: Nikoline Grace Jensen of Barangay Cogon

• Second Runner-Up: Cindy Tay Ling Ling of Barangay Dampas

• Third Runner-Up: Grichene Marri Roslinda of Barangay Ubujan

• Fourth Runner-Up: Crimson Rose Morris of Barangay San Isidro

Each runner-up received cash prizes, a bouquet, a sash, and a beauty treatment package from Blue Crystal Facial, Spa, and Salon.

As Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2025, Miss Bariñan took home a prestigious lineup of prizes, including a ₱60,000 cash prize, a brand-new flat-screen TV from Du Ek Sam Incorporated, a ₱100,000 worth beauty package from Blue Crystal Facial, Spa, and Salon, ₱20,000 worth of jewelry from Oro China, an overnight stay at Bohol Tropics Resort, ₱50,000 worth of dental veneers from J. Flores Dental Care, and a year of nail services from Le Posh Nail House.

She also received a one-year internet subscription and J Park Alona vouchers from Converge ICT Solutions Inc., and a round-trip ticket for two to any domestic destination from Philippine Airlines.

She was also crowned with the Mutya Legacy Crown, designed by Cary Santiago and crafted by Shandar.

Apart from clinching the crown, Miss Bariñan also dominated the special awards segment, taking home four special awards. She was awarded Best in Casual Interview, Miss Bohol Tropics, Miss 911 Ambassador, and Best in Gown, further proving her strong presence throughout the competition.

• Miss Converge – Kayla Maria Oomen (Poblacion I)

• Best Gown Designer – Aileen Pasagad for Mutya sa Dao

The grand coronation was hosted by celebrity personalities Robi Domingo and Tim Yap, with a distinguished panel of judges including Miss Earth 2024 Jessica Lane, internet influencer Small Laude, Miss Universe 2023 First Runner-Up Antonia Porsild, actress Jane De Leon, Best Model of the World Philippines Aaron Davis, fashion designer Cary Santiago, stage designer Ronald King, sports advocate Milka Romero, Global Port CEO Shiela Romero, and Patrick Tolentino, son of Senator Francis Tolentino.

The night also featured high-caliber performances from Elias TV, Katrina Velarde, Tom Cesar Vergara, the Vanguardians Dance Company, Philippine Ballet Theatre, Cebu Events Chamber Orchestra, and the Holy Name University Chorale.

Mayor Jane congratulated the winners and all the candidates, acknowledging their dedication and the values they represented. “The Mutya sa Tagbilaran pageant goes beyond beauty. It is a platform that celebrates leadership, advocacy, and public service,” the mayor said.

With her new title, Miss Bariñan now begins her reign as an ambassador of Tagbilaran City—embodying youth empowerment, cultural pride, and the progressive vision of her community.
