PUREGOLD newest branch is now opened to the public for their retail needs on April 3 in Ubay town.
Gov. Aris Aumentado, together with his wife, Congresswoman Vanvan Aumentado, Puregold Vice President for Operations Antonio de los Santos, Ubay Mayor Constan Reyes, with her wife councilor Violy Reyes, did the ceremonial ribbon-cutting before a throng of eager buyers and visitors.
The governor said in ambush interview that the opening of Puregold here would provide opportunity in retail sector and competitive pricing.
For his part, Mayor Reyes bared that indeed Puregold provides and has already given over 300 jobs while it was yet on construction phase as this is his request to the Puregold’s management.
Provincial Board Member Atty. Jamie Villamor also graced the program.
It is recalled that according to Congw. Vanvan Aumentado, “I remember in 2022 right after midaug pagka gobernador si Gov Aris Aumentado, iyang gibisitahan ang Owner/Director sa Puregold si Sir Lucio Co paghangyo nga tukoran ang Ubay ug Puregold. Ug karon ni-a na gyud ug basi sa sulti sa kadagkoan sa Puregold sama ni Puregold Vice President for Operations Antonio Delos Santos dili rani isa for Bohol pero duna pay laing branch/branches paga tukoron pohon.”(I remember in 2022 after Aris won the election, he visited Puregold owner/director Lucio Co to construct a Puregold branch in Ubay. And this is it).
Gov Aris said that this may not be the last in Bohol since the company is interested to build another in the future. As to the location, the governor said he endorsed Dauis town in Panglao island since the town has no public market and to spread the development and decongest the city. (rvo)
