Daghan ang nahadlok

MANY are wondering – why the haste to send PRRD to The Hague? What prompted BBM and his elk to decide to immediately fly PRRD to The Hague even when he was still trying to exhaust legal remedies as guaranteed under the Constitution?

Ngano man gyod nga paluparon man dayon pa-gawas sa Pilipinas?

Kinsay nagsugo ni Gen. Torre nga istriktohon ang pagdakop ug pag-kidnap ni PRRD?

These are among the many questions surrounding the very questionable process of “kidnapping” PRRD to The Hague.

But, let’s face it.

What is the real intention of BBM to subject PRRD to ICC jurisdiction? Was he prompted by the goodness of his heart to exact justice to the victims of the campaign against drugs?

Was it because PRRD was very vocal in describing BBM as lazy, indecisive, irresponsible and drug user, which was allegedly the very words his father Ferdinand described him?

Or, was it because he thought that by going against PRRD, he was also hitting at the same time VP Inday Sara, the most possible presidential candidate in 2028, is in two birds in one stone?

What does BBM aim to accomplish by subjecting PRRD to ICC?

Well, he is in for a very big problem.

The more he targets PRRD, the more he gets more unpopular because the number of PRRD loyalists is growing, apart from the fact that the crowd attendance, and behavior, during PRRD and BBMs attendance during rallies are very revealing.

Gabaha ang crowd, plus excited kaayo ang mga tawo ni PRRD pero kon si BBM na gani, ang scenario is best described by the Negros Oriental Governor – matay, mingaw man.

And the worse thing for BBM.

PRRD is already past his political prime, he is no longer a threat to BBM because the real threat is not PRRD but VP Inday Sara.

So persecuting him will get BBM no tangible result other than making more enemies. He is instead making PRRD more like a political icon, a hero so to speak, to many Pinoys, here and abroad.

Persecuting PRRD will reap bad joss for BBM, alienate him more from the people and make VP Inday Sara more lovable, better alternative and the best potential for 2028.

Luoy ang mo-kontra ni VP Inday Sara sa 2028.

BBM is also reaping negative media mileage not only here in the country but also abroad.

Just watching the video footage of VP Inday Sara, and many PRRD loyalists, of how Pinoys abroad are reacting, and acting, on PRRDs sad plight in the hands of BBM, one can easily say that this is minus for BBM and his elk but a big plus for VP Sara.

Kon patuga-tuga og lansad si Tamba against VP Sara in 2028, am sure maka-katilaw gyod siya’g kastigo sa balota.

Many are wondering who foot the bill for the private jet that was used in ferrying PRRD to The Hague?

Was BBM telling the truth when he said they have no prior knowledge about the eventual arrest of PRRD in NAIA Terminal 3 upon his arrival from Hongkong when reports quoted SILG Secretary Remulla as saying that he was one of those who participated in the planning of the service of the warrant for PRRD, with BBM as another participant?

This was also mentioned by former ES Salvador Medialdia in his opening statement at the ICC pre-trial hearing.

Daghan and nanga-hadlok karon. Why?

Daghan ang nagtuo nga madamay sila sa nahitabo karon ni PRRD in the hands of BBM.

And the ones who are saying are those allied with BBMs Alyansa.

In fact, one admin mayor echoes the same sentiment.

Kon dili mausab ang sentimento sa mga tawo Dol (we call each other idol) karon og hangtod sa  piniliay na gyod, delikado mi ani nga mga kandidato ubos sa Alyansa kay nang-gawas na karon ang mga loyalists ni VP Inday Sara, one mayor confided.

But, wa pod mi mahimo kay mao may gusto ug mando ni Cong, he added, nga pabor gyod mi sa alyansa.
