Aris 82% satisfaction; No. 2 in IGEEI survey

BOHOL Governor Aris C. Aumentado placed at number two in Institute of Global Education, Exchange and Internships (IGEEI) survey, revealing top performing governors in the Visayas.

Here’s what the IGEEI has said, “Youth satisfaction ratings ranged from 70% to 89%, with Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia leading the rankings with an impressive 89% satisfaction rate, followed by Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado (82%) and Negros Oriental Governor Chaco Sagarbarria (81%). These governors stood out for their proactive leadership, infrastructure development, and youth-focused initiatives.”

“Also among the top-rated governors are Siquijor Governor Jake Villa (80%)), Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. (77%), Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson (76%), and Antique Governor Rhodora Cadiao (74%). Completing the top 10 are Aklan Governor Jode Enrique Miraflores (73%), Leyte Governor Carlos Jericho Petilla (71%), and Samar Governor Sharee Ann Tan (70%).”

“The Institute for Global Education Exchange and Internship (IGEEI) has released its latest findings from the Youth Satisfaction and Trust Ratings Survey, evaluating provincial governors in the Visayas based on their governance, programs, and leadership. The results highlight the region’s top-performing leaders and provide valuable insights into the evolving priorities of Visayan youth.”

“The survey took place between December 1, 2024, and January 10, 2025, gathering responses from 10,000 young people aged 18 to 30 across various provinces in the Visayas. To reach a diverse group, data was collected through online surveys, face-to-face interviews, and phone calls.” (rvo)
