THE Municipality of Ubay is blessed for a leader born, not only to lead a family, but in many aspects of life, in the person of retired Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of Ubay District, Ubay, Bohol. Considered as the last PSDS of Ubay District, and the first PSDS of Ubay 1, Ubay 2, and Ubay 3 District.
PSDS “Costan, Tanciong, RACS (Rosaluna, Atuel, Cutamora, Sarabosing),Migo”, and other names referred to him by his close friends, but to hi DepEd Family, our respected Sir Costan, showed the way how to lead by example. He is a person who really “walks the talk”, and fond of doing “works of mercy”, not only to his friends, but to those who are in need of help.
As a Boy Scout Leader, he took us to a path that made Ubay produce a number of Eagel Scouts of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Bohol Council. One of them is the Mr. Maxwell Cutamora, the Municipal Planning and Development Officer, of Ubay, Bohol and the one of them, personally known by the author is Dr. Rex Angelo V. Tumalon, DDM. A lot of school, district, municipal, and even provincial scouting activities were conducted in Ubay through his leadership.
As a Sports Leader, he led a lot of DepEd personnel to be in the field of sports. He took the lead, not only as an officiating official, as a coach, and as a trainer as well. He showed the true virtues of true sports minded individual by accepting humble defeats and and staying humble as a winner in any competitions.
As a Church Leader, Sir Constan, as the First President of the Lay Liturgical Ministry (LLM), of Santo Nino Parish, Ubay, Bohol lead the group with nothing to worry, may it be financial, social, and other concerns- Sir Costan is ready to respond and find ways and means to overcome challenges in achieving what the group aspires.
As what Bohol BSP Council Executive, Hermes T. Angoy mentioned during their visit at the wake of Sir Constan, “no dull moments with Sir Constan”. It is really true. No dull moments with him, because he always leads the way, finds a way, and make a way to make life of an individual happy and contented. A true leader, a friend, a father, and a mentor- you will always be remembered Sir Costan.
