CONGRESSWOMAN Vanvan C. Aumentado has bared what could be her legislative accomplishments in the House of Representatives despite her being a neophyte she tried her best to make second district she represented and entire Bohol developed economically.
“Usa sa matawag nato nga accomplishment for the year 2024 is kaning mga Bills nga atong gipasa ug na approved on its Third & Final Reading in Congress,” she said in fb post.
The proposed laws approved in plenary have still to hurdle the scrutiny of the Senate, she said, hoping all runs well.
These are: (1.) HB 4448 “An act establishing two (2) additional schools division offices in the province of Bohol;” (2.) HB 5415 “An act establishing a special economic zone in the province of Bohol, creating for that purpose the northern Bohol special economic zone authority, appropriating funds therefore and for other purposes;” and (3.) HB 5950 “An act declaring the immediate underwater environs of the Bien-Unido double barrier reef in the municipality of Bien-Unido, province of Bohol, a tourist destination, and appropriating funds therefor.”
Additionally, (4.) HB 5952 “An act establishing an extension office of the land transportation office (lto) in the municipality of Ubay, in the second district of bohol, and appropriating funds therefor;” and (5.) HB 3216 “An act strengthening the governance and management of the Philippine science high school system.
“I co-authored this Bill, wherein under this HB, is the creation or establishment of Philippine Science High School in Ubay o mas popular sa term nga PhiSci/PISAY,” Aumentado said. (RVO)
