Mayor Jane Yap leads turnover activity
of wheelchairs, chairs to city residents

TAGBILARAN City Mayor Jane Yap led the turnover of wheelchairs and plastic chairs to individuals and organizations on different dates of December 2024, reinforcing the city government’s commitment to inclusivity and community support.

Among the beneficiaries were Sinfronio Thelmo of Barangay Poblacion 3 and Cruz Salgados of Barangay Booy, who each received a wheelchair to improve their mobility and quality of life.

In addition, plastic chairs were turned over to various organizations, including the Mansasa Senior Citizens Association, Mansasa National High School, KAKAMABO, and the Manga Senior Citizens Association, to aid their programs and activities.

Mayor Yap emphasized the importance of initiatives that address the practical needs of residents and community groups.

She noted that these efforts reflect the city government’s dedication to fostering unity and improving the well-being of its citizens.

“These donations may be small, but they carry great significance for the recipients. Through collaboration and shared compassion, we continue to build a stronger and more resilient Tagbilaran,” she said.
