TODAY is the fifth day of the month. It is also the fifth day of the New Year, 2025.
It is understood, therefore, that beginning today there are now only 360 days left to start for another year.
And as one begins his three hundred sixty (360) days journey in life, he must be reminded that by doing so, he is sure to face a very uncertain and challenging future. Short Cuts believes that no one, in his right senses, would expect a bright future.
As a consequence, everyone must be prepared. It must be inculcated in everyone’s mind that one’s future is his own making. It can never be dependent on others.
And it is also a fact that everyone – whether rich or poor – has his own future. A dismal preparation for man’s future is one’s own making, so with a bright future. Therefore, if only to obtain a better future, one must work for it honestly and proficiently.
“Life is what we make it”, everyone is told.
To Short Cuts, the type of future that one gets truly depends on the manner one had undergone in his lifetime. Bad experiences will definitely beget a bad future, but a smooth and lively atmosphere doubled with an honest workplace would promise a bright future.
Therefore, as everyone begins to walk on the remaining three hundred sixty days of 2025, kindly look back of your past. Everyone must be reminded that the past is one’s guidepost for a better future. So that if one had an equally undesirable past, he must think of it and rush for some amends. In such a case, he must improve.
However, a good and admirable past earmarks a better future. But this degree of performance must not be on a standstill. Something has to be done.
One is suggested to improve and further improve his degree of performance. This must be rule of the day. Further improvement deserves the call.
One must not be contented of a constant and never improving grade in his yearly performance.
This is indeed “Life is what we make it”. One’s future truly depends in oneself!
Generally, however, as one looks back of the past and prepare for the future, God’s intervention must not be set aside for one to succeed.
His heavenly guidance is required.
