THE municipality of Getafe, Bohol is set to celebrate its 150th foundation day on October 12, but not without an array of activities lined up staring October 6, 2024.
On the day of the foundation, Mayor Cary Monillas Camacho will deliver his State of Municipality address with development accomplishments and outlining his plans of activities.
The Schedule of Activities are the following: October 6, 2024 – Basketball InterTown; Day 1 October 7, 2024, AM: Elderly Week Culmination Program, PM: BASKETBALL Inter-Town; Day 2 October 8, 2024, AM: Opening Agri-Fair and PM: Basketball Inter-town;
Day 3 October 9, 2024, AM: Childrens Fair, Mayor Cary M. Camacho Night and Singing Contest.
Day 4 October 10, 2024 -Basketball & Volleyball and Civil Service League Championship Game and Queen of Getafe Pageant Night; Day 5 October 11, 2024 – Kasalan ng Bayan , Team AGAK Night and Dance Contest.
Day 6 October 12, 2024 -Foundation Day, Holy Mass, Motorcade, Program and State of Town Address (SOTA). Nth afternoon will be the show in ROTC and Field Demonstration (Schools). In th night will be a live band.
This year’s theme is “SESQUICENTINIAL CELEBRATION: Honoring Our Past, Embracing our Future.” (rvo)
