THE City Government of Tagbilaran is once again conducting its annual “Operation Tuli,” offering free circumcision services to young boys across various barangays.
In its first week, “Operation Tuli” was successfully held in the barangays of Cogon, Cabawan, and Booy.
City Mayor Jane Yap personally visited these sites to support the patients, their families and the medical team.
The program saw a significant turnout, with many families availing themselves of the free services provided by the city government.
Mayor Yap expressed her support for the program, stating, “Operation Tuli is a vital health initiative that reflects our commitment to the well-being of our children. By providing these services for free, we are ensuring that every child has access to essential healthcare, regardless of their economic background.”
The program is being implemented by the Tagbilaran City Primary Care Facility (TCPCF) under the leadership of City Health Officer Dr. Jeia Pondoc, who has deployed medical teams to conduct the circumcision procedures.
These dedicated teams work together to ensure that the circumcision procedures are carried out under hygienic and secure conditions, providing peace of mind to parents and guardians.
The “Operation Tuli” program will continue in the following barangays: Tiptip on June 11, Ubujan on June 17, Manga on June 20, San Isidro on June 21, Dao on June 25, Poblacion 2 on June 27, Poblacion 3 on July 2, Bool on July 4, Dampas on July 8, and Mansasa on July 11.
“Operation Tuli” is part of the broader efforts of the Tagbilaran City Government to enhance public health services and ensure the well-being of its residents.
