IN the realm of determined commitment, a meticulously devised 2018 plan unfolded its wings, set to materialize in the vibrancy of 2022. Mayor Dionisio Neil Balite issued a challenge to the Department of Education (DepEd) that held the promise of transforming a dream into a reality\u2014an exceptional community festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September 2022, the responsibility transitioned from Public School District Supervisor (PSDS) Isidora Codilla to Sir Jonas Gabutan, Principal of Valencia Technical Vocational High School. As the steward of this ambitious venture, Sir Jonas sought a collaborator, finding Ma. Sahlee Acha Santos, Culture and Arts Coordinator, and Senior High School teacher, as the linchpin in this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meticulously planned since 2018, the synopsis, a detailed roadmap of festivities, was presented to Sir Jonas, marking the start of a journey that transcended planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bureaucratic landscape was navigated, and the synopsis, after scrutiny through hierarchical channels, received unanimous approval. This green light initiated a flurry of activities \u2013 summoning the Sang-at jingle singers, orchestrating recording sessions, and crafting schedules for rehearsals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With each note sung and every step practiced, the chosen performers from VTVHS became essential contributors, constructing the festival’s foundation. The entire process unfolded like a well-coordinated symphony, with each individual significantly contributing to this creative project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the festival’s launch date neared, excitement filled the air. Only a month of careful planning, teamwork, and steadfast dedication were about to culminate in a show that embodied not only the Mayor’s vision but also the spirit of the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 27, 2022, Valencia’s foundation day, everyone was invited to be part of this grand celebration. Marking the realization of a collective dream, the festival promised to be a showcase of cultural richness and a testament to the power of collaboration. Witness the harmonious convergence of art, culture, and community as we embark on a journey that transcends mere festivities\u2014a journey reflecting the vibrant spirit of Valencia and its people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
