THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) proudly celebrates the culmination of numerous transformative sub-projects under the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services: National Community-Driven Development Program \u2013 Additional Financing (KALAHI-CIDSS: NCDDP-AF) in the Municipality of Valencia, Bohol. The turnover ceremony for all completed projects took place during the last quarter of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a total investment of Php 19,579,741.63, these initiatives have traversed diverse sectors, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to community empowerment and sustainable progress. From vital infrastructure enhancements to fostering better access to essential services, the completion of these projects stands as a testament to the collaborative spirit and dedication of all involved stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The roster of completed sub-projects within Valencia, Bohol, boasts an extensive selection of initiatives covering various domains. Infrastructure development include the rehabilitation of RCPC outlets and inlets through the construction of slope protections in Adlawan, Anoyon, and Simang. Additionally, the construction of barangay access roads, pathways, and canal linings were executed in Barangay Anas, Anonang, Banderahan, Balingasao, Botong, Buyog, Canduao Occidental, Canduao Oriental, Catug-an, Cutcutan, Danao, Genoveva, Ginopolan, Lantang, Limocon, Loctob, Magsaysay, Marawis, Nailo, Poblacion Occidental, Poblacion Oriental, Tausion, Taytay, and Ticum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Health and community facilities involved improvements with the construction and enhancement of barangay health stations in Anas and support for health facility enhancements near isolation facilities in Canlusong. Furthermore, disaster response initiatives were undertaken through the provision of communication and public address devices in Canmanico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Livelihood and environmental sustainability were also prioritized through cash-for-work programs aimed at slope protection, reforestation, and community cleanup drives in Cansibao, Pangian, Taug, and Nailo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grateful for the successful implementation of the projects, Municipal Mayor Dionisio Neil A. Balite, PhD emphasized, \u201cEach project has directly impacted the lives of Valencia residents, fostering economic growth, enhancing public health, and creating sustainable environments for future generations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
