This photo was taken during the Urban Connect Project, City Planning Workshop on October 10, 2023 at Metrocentre Hotel, Tagbilaran City.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>TAGBILARAN City, along with eight other secondary cities, is set to benefit from Urban Connect Project, a dynamic initiative supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Urban Connect is a comprehensive five-year economic development program designed to foster inclusive and resilient growth in secondary cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project&#8217;s primary focus is to advance local economic development and enhance the delivery of public services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The roll-out of the Urban Connect Project in Tagbilaran was marked by a City Improvement Planning workshop on October 10, 2023, held at the MetroCentre Hotel, Tagbilaran City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop brought together key personnel and department heads from the City Government, who actively participated in shaping the program&#8217;s direction within the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heading the project as the City Project Officer for USAID Urban Connect is Ms. Madeleine Mary Boiser-Sinon, whose expertise and leadership will be pivotal in driving the project&#8217;s objectives forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Alex Brilliantes, Jr., Chief of Part of USAID Urban Connect Project, graced the event with his opening remarks and engaging presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His insights set the stage for a constructive dialogue on how the project can best benefit Tagbilaran City and its residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City Mayor Jane Yap enthusiastically expressed her support for the Urban Connect Project, emphasizing the city&#8217;s commitment to progress and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She lauded the collaborative effort between the City Government and USAID, highlighting the potential for positive transformation in Tagbilaran City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the workshop, the participants engaged in a series of interactive activities, including identifying key challenges faced by the city and proposing innovative solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This process was followed by prioritizing these challenges and crafting action plans to address them effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Urban Connect Project represents a significant opportunity for Tagbilaran City to further its development agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the combined efforts of the City Government and USAID, the city is poised to embark on a journey of growth, resilience, and inclusivity, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for its residents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TAGBILARAN City, along with eight other secondary cities, is set to benefit from Urban Connect Project, a dynamic initiative supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
