Aris Aumentado by Bohol Mineral Resources Regulatory Office (BMinRO) showed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The said total collection of nine-month performance manifested that it\u2019s within reach to amass the target of P40 million by the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The said gross income from quarry operations overshot the accomplishments of P8,028,137.00 and P16,793,000.00 in 2021 and 2022 respectively, the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2022 collections, the province accumulated P3,927,000.00 in January to June 2022 and P12,866,000.00 for July-December 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of these gross incomes, the province is expected to get 30% share or equivalent to P12 million of the total pursuant to the scheme provided by the Local Government Code of 1991.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The municipality and barangay, where these sand\/gravel and quarry operations are located, will have 30% and 40% shares of the gross income, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the January-September 2023, the month of September got the biggest collection to the tune of P5,7390,871.00, and the smallest was P2,099,381.00 in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the processing\/permitting activity, BMinRo was able to approve nine permits out of 15 targets. For now, there 59 active permits: sand and gravel, 15; and quarry, 44.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It already conducted 15 site verification of the 12 target; and assessed 20 permitted areas of the 16 targets for the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, The Bohol Environment Protection Task Force (BEPTF), implementing arm of the BMinRO, has aimed to conduct monitoring activities three times a week. BEFTF has checked a total of 102 areas and impounded 58 vehicles transporting quarry materials lacking or having no supporting documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Galicinao told the press during the Capitol Reports at the Capitol this morning that every permittee is obliged to make rehabilitation works of mined-out areas as provided in their documents. There are three areas being on going rehabilitation: Trinidad, Talibon and Alicia. But it did not mention the specific areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
