TO improve traffic management and ensure the safety of the public, the City Government of Tagbilaran conducted a comprehensive Traffic Enforcers Refresher Seminar on September 23 and 30, 2023 at Jj\u2019s Seafood Village, Tagbilaran City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar aimed to provide the city\u2019s traffic enforcers with up-to-date knowledge and skills on road safety and controlling traffic flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity featured expert speakers who discussed various aspects of traffic management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traffic consultant retired Police Major Jesus Acullador talked about the challenges of traffic law enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEMS Celso Orapa of the Tagbilaran City Police Station shared insights on traffic directions and control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retired Police Lieutenant Bartolome Udtohan, led a session on traffic accident investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This topic is important to ensure an accurate and unbiased assessment of road incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Valentino Gamutin, Executive Assistant of the City Mayor\u2019s Office, discussed the highlights of Republic Act No. 9485, also known as the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The law aims to streamline government services and reduce bureaucratic hurdles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap commended the dedication and hard work of city traffic enforcers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She reiterated her commitment to provide the necessary support and training to enhance the capacity of the city\u2019s traffic management team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight of the activity was the ceremonial distribution of traffic vests and uniforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These uniforms not only provide a more professional appearance but also improve visibility for traffic controllers and safety while on duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Councilor Eliezer Borja, Chairman of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Peace, Public Order and Security, also addressed the participants and distributed certificates of participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
