This as the provincial government is purchase additional lots for the suited relocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It may be recalled that Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, acting on Resolution No.54-2023 by the Provincial Appraisal Committee, which assigned specific values to parcels of land to be acquired by the provincial government for future infrastructure projects, has requested the legislative body for the passage of a resolution authorizing the purchase of lots, in nearby San Roque, Cortes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Consolidated from 10 lots comprising a total land area of 7.96 hectares, the proposed housing project relocated site is priced at P700 per square meter for the property along the road and P400 for agricultural lots in the interior area, both characterized by rolling terrains, with planted trees and with visible residential buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this, the Provincial Appraisal Committee has valued the purchase at P33,033,380, which would be part of the land banked by the Provincial Government for future purposes, and ins such a case, the government housing project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Provincial Government has already appropriated P50M from its 20% Development Fund in the annual budget for 2023 for this planned acquisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But then, the appropriation does not yet categorically state the lots to be purchased, hence, a resolution from the SP authorizing Governor Aumentado for the purchase is necessary, and in compliance to laws and ordinances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It may also be recalled that the Provincial government has acquired a 21-hectare lot in the adjoining area of Malayo Norte and Malayo Sur, a part of which is donated to the National Government, particularly to the Department of Health for the construction of Multi-Specialty Medical Center (MMC), the Department of Social Welfare and Development for the Balay Paglaum Youth Rehabilitation Center, and the remaining part which was earlier identified for the Bohol Provincial Employees League (BOPEL) Housing Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As such the SP Committee on Government Properties, Enterprises and related undertakings recommend for the passage of a resolution greenlighting the lots purchase, all located in San Roque, Cortes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
