GOVERNOR Aris Aumentado said that the Capitol employee has to face the crime he allegedly committed for the possession of illegal drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The governor told media interview last week that he does not tolerate any provincial worker who is into illegal activities, particularly peddling illegal drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aumentado said that prior to the arrest of the suspect Frederick Pamatong Madrinan, an employee of the Provincial Veterinarian Office, he was already informed of the employee\u2019s alleged involvement in illegal drugs by the Camp Dagohoy led by provincial director Col. Lorenzo Batuan during the recent Provincial Peace and Order Council meeting he presided over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And he immediately directed the police to do the necessary operation against the suspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As this developed, the governor announced that the Capitol will conduct a random drug test of all employees in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dauis police seized a suspected shabu worth over P1.8 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mariveles in Dauis town on Sunday, May 21, according to Bohol Island News online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspect Madri\u00f1an, 51, is a resident of Tagbilaran City and considered as a high value individual, police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is a licensed veterinarian who is currently employed at Office of Bohol Provincial Veterinarian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was nabbed before midnight in Purok 4 in Barangay Mariveles in Dauis town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seized from the suspect were packs of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 275 grams with an estimated street value of P1. 8 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
