So, I asked a highly credible educator from my hometown. I will not divulge her name because I do not have her permission. But here is our brief exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGood afternoon, Mam. Naa koy ipangutana nimo. Tubaga lang nig di ka busy. Naa na mampuy move nga mag-K-10 na lang, di na K-12. Unsay imong ma-comment based sa imong experience sa K-12? Was K-12 better than the previous (grade 1 to 6, then high school 1-4)? Or, mas maayo ning daan? Or, if there is K-10 na lang, is it better? Or mas maayo gihapon tong daan?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her reply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGood afternoon, Sir. For me, okey man ang naay Senior High School kay naa na man puy teachers, buildings and resources. Okey man pud ang resulta kay na-skillful man ang mga bata. Pwera na lang sa ubang schools nga wa maka-meet sa standards sa ilang teachers, facilities ug resources. Pero para nako, okey kaayo ang naay Senior High School gyud\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAng problema lang gyud pagsugod kay gidali-dali og implement. Dapat unta to, nagstart og kinder. So, kadtong nagsugod sa K-12 system from kinder, mohuman ug moabot sa Grade12. Kana gyud unta ang ideal. Dili parehas karon sa pag-implement nga diretso\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa akong pagsabut wa sila kasagang. Napugos silag implement kay maoy gimando sa taas. Lisud gyud pud nang ingon-ana ang atong pagpatuman sa mga sistema nga importante kaayo, sama sa edukasyon. Wa mapahilunag maayo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Midugang pa gyud siya:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAng curriculum sa K-12 nga gi-spiral, maoy wala namo angayi, Sir. Walay mastery kay putol-putol ang lessons. Unlike before nga ma-master gyud sa estudyante kay one entire year level man gyud tun-an sa bata. For example, sa Geometry, sa una, 3rd Year nimo na kuhaon. Karon, putol-putol. Pastilan unsaon man na nila nga di man sila military o police institution?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dunay problema pud karon sa higher education (sa college) kay matud pa, wa na kunoy pondo para sa mga First Year ug Second Year nga pobreng estudyante kay ang bilyones nga naa sa ilang panudlanan gigahin na kuno alang sa mga proyekto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsa man diay atong pakadak-an, ang edukasyon sa atong kabataan, o ang porciento sa mga kabulsahan? Bisag kamo ang pangutan-on, unsa may inyong gusto, proyekto? O, libreng tuition? Di ba obvious nga libreng tuition ang angayan?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mao lagi na ba. Taronga lagi ninyog botar. Tarungag pili ang mga lideres. Di lang kay modawat ra tag kwarta o motuo tas mga butbut nga gipasiatab sa Facebook ug ubang social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sige lang, ato ning ampoan.
