THE Mobile Passporting Services was conducted successfully in the City Hall Atrium. More than 1,500 applicants were processed by the DFA Mobile Passport Service Team for two days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the coordination of the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) under Marck Borja, the City Government of Tagbilaran has always endeavored for continuous streamlining and improvement of the frontline services delivery, with the end goal of delivering quality, timely and relevant public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City Mayor Jane Yap personally thanked the Department of Foreign Affairs for bringing the ease and convenience of the mobile passport service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur constituents have saved money for travel, transportation and meals. Second, this service has provided convenience for those families who are applying. And third, this is also beneficial for our OFWs who are renewing their passport or those who are applying for jobs abroad and for professionals who are do not have the time to go to Cebu or Manila. In other words, we have brought quality service with greater ease and convenience to our people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Yap is looking forward for more mobile passport services in the future. The DFA brought 21 skilled personnel to man the entire process, with the Public Employment Services Office as its counterpart logistics team. The combined team of the DFA and the City Government established a mobile passporting process flow which started with the holding area, processing of papers, interview, courier appointment, and data encoding and capturing.  (Jeanette Busano)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
