City Mayor Jane Yap and Sir Chief Baba Yap led the turn-over of the multi-purpose covered court in Brgy. Cabawan to the barangay officials led by Punong Barangay Sergio Bangalao.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

BARANGAY Cabawan has a new multi-purpose covered court as City Mayor Jane Yap led the ceremonial turn-over of the Special Education Funded (SEF) project \u2013 the Cabawan Elementary School Covered Court on December 15, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Various SEF funded projects were already completed, the perimeter fence in Manga Elementary School and the repair of the Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School (DCPNHS) Gymnasium. The completed flooring in the gymnasium of Tagbilaran City Science High School was also finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SEF of Tagbilaran City increased exponentially, from Php25 million in 2013 to Php84 million in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe prompt payment of taxes by the Tagbilaranons made this initiative possible. Tagbilaran City\u2019s Special Education Fund has been exponentially increasing since 2013 resulting to improved services in education. The SEF has been instrumental in providing additional classrooms to all the City\u2019s public schools, security guards, laboratories, multi-purpose covered courts, uniforms, and equipment. We can really feel our taxes working to improve the lives of our constituents,\u201d Mayor Jane Yap said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deployment of security guards to all the public schools, procurement of toner, rehabilitation of the library, repair of roofing and trusses of the Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School, deployment of teacher aides, and the procurement of equipment for the senior high school were just few of SEF funded priorities.
