Aris Aumentado remains committed to bring the provincial government services closer to the people in \u201cGreet and Meet\u201d like what he did to the island tows of President Carlos P. Garcia and Ubay last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The governor is slated to do the same pursuit in the municipalities of Jagna, Lila, Loay and Loboc on Monday, December 12, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, he has been to the towns of Anda with Mayor Angelina \u201cInday\u201d Simacio, Guindulman with Mayor Ben Balo,&nbsp; Garcia-Hernandez with Mayor Jess Baja, Valencia with Mayor Dionisio Neil Balite, Dimiao with Mayor Randolph Ang and their respective town officials for the same purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the governor in \u201cMeet &amp; Greet\u201d mission are the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian&nbsp; (OPV) for the Barangay Livestock Aides concern; Provincial treasurer\u2019s Office (PTO) for the barangay aid distribution; Office of the Provincial Social and Development and Tarsier personnel for food packs; the Local Government Affairs (LGA) office with former Mabini Mabini Mayor Stephen Rances and Oscar Valles; Provincial Health Office (PHO) and other offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The governor along with CPG Mayor Fernando \u201cEping\u201d Estavilla handed over the barangay aid to the tune of P25,000 for each barangay and other assistance to the barangay such as, honorarium to BALA, barangay nutrition workers and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While in CPG town, Aumentado led the groundbreaking of the evacuation center with the town officials led by Mayor Estavilla. The center which cost some P25 million is part of the National Housing Authority (NHA)\u2019s contribution primarily for the reconstruction of houses damaged by typhoon Odette that struck Bohol on December 16, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of the P100 million (P25 million) was given to Talibon residents who are given the opportunity to rebuild their houses at 4-hectare lot donated by Mayor Janette Garcia\u2019s family in barangay San Carlos where the governor inaugurated sometime in September this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other shares out of P100 million are appropriated for Ubay town evacuation center and Loboc housing project at p25 million apiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aumentado informed Mayor Estavilla and the barangay officials that the NHA will continue next year the fund aid to those whose houses are totally damaged by \u201cOdette\u201d at P10,000 apiece. And those who already received P5,000 from DSWD will be given P5,000 for the same purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NHA thru the DSWD has started giving out P10,000 each resident to repair their houses in Ubay town the other week.
