MERRIAM Webster Dictionary defines the word guidance as the act or process of guiding. It is a word that is best described when done through an example: Travellers use a compass for them to know that they are in the right track in the process of going towards their destination. For me, such guidance is beneficial to all, it helps us to be on the right track or path towards the goals that we have in life. It somehow serves as a beacon that would show us the best way to success. One famous example is the North star guiding the wise men towards Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The youth, obviously, are inexperienced in comparison to the ADULTS. Common experience shows that the youth are the ones who are prone of getting astray from the \u201cbest\u201d path. They are usually not that good in decision making, nor are they any good at doing \u201cright\u201d thing. They are gullible, and thus, prone to a lot of scams and what not. Having said that, the youth is indeed in need of guidance, not only from the adults, but generally all people who are experienced, especially from their parents (since they are the closest people that influence them).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the many responsibilities that a parent\/guardian has is to be their children\u2019s guide. In fact, \u201cParental Guidance\u201d is a commonly used term when it comes to most things that deals with dangerous stuff. Parental guidance, as commonly understood, is simply the guidance given by parents or guardians to their children. Why do children be in need of guidance? The abovementioned problem of inexperience explains it. To reiterate, the youth\/children, are prone to being astray, as they are not only inexperienced and gullible, but they are also reckless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the proper guidance from parents, children\u2019s attitude and behavior will change for the better. Children will develop holistically. It can be proved by looking at our society, the youth who had been guided accordingly are the ones who are mostly successful. They are usually the ones that end up having a good future. On the other hand, the ones with no proper guidance are the ones that have a destructive future, most end up in jail, rehab, or unemployment. Having no beacon, they were strayed from the right and best path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, parents, guardians and other adults must be putting in their hearts and minds the importance of parental guidance. They must always be ready to do their part of such a huge responsibility. Not only is the life of the youth at stake here, but also the life of everything that follows: their children, the children of their children, so on and so forth, the environment, and the earth as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us always remember, it all starts at HOME. Guide the youth accordingly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
