Photos from Tagbilaran CIO and PIMO.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BOHOL continues to draw private-sector interest as Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. explores further supermarket expansion in the province while four new dining, leisure and recreation establishments recently opened in Tagbilaran City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The developments highlight continued investor confidence and expanding business activity in the province, with potential to generate jobs, widen consumer choices and create new livelihood opportunities for Boholanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives of Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. paid a courtesy visit to the Governor\u2019s Office on October 29, 2026, where Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte welcomed the delegation and discussed the company\u2019s future investment prospects in Bohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also present were Provincial General Services Office Head Engr. Eustaquio Caliao and Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office Officer-in-Charge Jude Bernard Guieb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The discussion focused on Robinsons Retail\u2019s plans to expand its supermarket presence in Bohol, including the possible construction of additional branches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposed expansion follows the successful opening of Robinsons Supermarket in Panglao, which marked the company\u2019s 160th supermarket store nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc., established in 1980, is one of the country\u2019s leading multi-format retailers and operates more than 2,780 stores nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u2019s possible expansion in Bohol is expected to widen access to goods and services, stimulate related business activity and create employment opportunities in the retail sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, Tagbilaran City also recorded new private investments in dining, recreation and entertainment from October 15 to 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four establishments opened during the period: JoyLand City Park Bazaar and Carnival, Dabarkads Pickleball Court, a new branch of Mashisseoyo KBBQ, and Hansang Korean Restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JoyLand City Park Bazaar and Carnival opened on October 15 along Calceta Street in Barangay Cogon, offering another leisure and entertainment destination in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dabarkads Pickleball Court held its blessing and grand opening on October 18 along CPG North Avenue in Barangay Taloto, adding another recreational facility for residents and visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The city\u2019s dining sector also expanded with the opening of Mashisseoyo KBBQ\u2019s new branch on October 23 at the third floor of Aldea La Veranda along CPG Avenue in Barangay Poblacion 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hansang Korean Restaurant followed with its grand opening on October 26 along Burgos Street in Barangay Poblacion 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap welcomed the new businesses and thanked their owners for choosing the city as an investment destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYour investment means more opportunities, livelihood, and growth for our Pamilyang Tagbilaranon,\u201d Yap said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The City Government of Tagbilaran said it continues to promote an environment conducive to business development, with the goal of attracting investments, supporting entrepreneurship and expanding livelihood opportunities for the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the provincial level, the Provincial Government of Bohol continues to strengthen the investment climate under Gov.
