Janice Parcon, who has been reassigned to head the Women and Children Protection Desk of the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The personnel reshuffle took effect on July 22, 2026, in accordance with an order issued by Police Colonel Patricio Degay Jr., Provincial Director of the BPPO. The appointment was announced by Police Major Joseph Lopena, Public Information Officer and head of the Police Community Affairs Development Unit (PCADU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As one of his first official duties, P\/Capt. Aspiras led a courtesy visit to the Bohol Provincial Capitol to strengthen coordination and partnership with the provincial government in ensuring the safety and security of the province&#8217;s tourist destinations. The delegation was received by Governor Aris Aumentado, Representative Vanessa Aumentado, and Provincial Administrator Aster Caberte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his statement, Aspiras pledged to further intensify the Tourist Police Unit&#8217;s visibility through regular inspections, monitoring, and patrols along roads and tourist sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the initiative aims to increase police presence, deter criminal activity, and ensure the safety and security of both visitors and residents through close coordination with local government units and tourism stakeholders.
