THE City Government of Tagbilaran will stage a Career Expo and Local and Overseas Job Fair on August 15, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is part of the city\u2019s 60th Diamond Charter Anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will offer employment and livelihood opportunities for local residents and overseas job aspirants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) \u2013 Local and Overseas Job Fair will be held at the Covered Court of Barangay Cabawan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Morning activities will be devoted to government programs and services orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The job fair proper is scheduled to begin in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event is being spearheaded by the Tagbilaran City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) headed by Mark Borja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is being held under the leadership of Mayor Jane Yap and Vice Mayor Adam Jala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the city government, the career expo is being organized in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other partners include the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and the PESO Managers Association of the Philippines\u2013Bohol Chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The activity is expected to bring together employers from various industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Job opportunities will be offered in hotel and restaurant management, construction, engineering, manufacturing, sales and merchandising, medical and caregiving services, banking and finance, information technology, general administrative work, and business process outsourcing (BPO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applicants are encouraged to bring a comprehensive r\u00e9sum\u00e9 or biodata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They should also bring diploma or transcript of records, employment and training certificates, NBI clearance, valid identification photos, and passports for overseas work applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Job seekers are advised to pre-register online through the Tagbilaran City PESO registration portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They may also visit the PESO Office at Tagbilaran City Hall to secure registration cards ahead of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The city government said the TNK Job Fair forms part of the broader Diamond Jubilee program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
