TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol (PIA) \u2014 The Provincial Government of Bohol, together with Tagbilaran City and all 47 municipalities in the province, achieved a 100% passing rate in the Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) Assessment for Calendar Year (CY) 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This means they have met the financial management and transparency standards of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 16, the DILG released the list of local government units (LGUs) that passed the GFH Assessment as of March 9, recognizing their commitment to accountability, transparency, and sound fiscal management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado, who was in Canada with other governors for a Governance for Climate and Disaster Resilience activity, welcomed the recognition in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aumentado thanked Bohol\u2019s local leaders, council members, and government officials, and called on them to continue serving with integrity and responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GFH is a DILG recognition mechanism that evaluates LGUs based on compliance with financial management and transparency requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It serves as an indicator of responsible fiscal administration and adherence to existing laws, rules, and regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
