THE City Government of Tagbilaran has successfully completed two major road concreting projects, further advancing its infrastructure development agenda and improving transportation access for residents across the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Jane Yap announced the completion of Phase 1 of the Cabawan Road Concreting Project, just in time for the opening of the new school year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project forms part of the city\u2019s continuing efforts to enhance road networks and strengthen connectivity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Mayor Yap, the newly concreted road now provides a smoother and more convenient route for students, commuters, and residents traveling to and from Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School\u2013Cabawan and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The road also serves as an important link connecting Tagbilaran City to the neighboring municipalities of Cortes and Corella. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis project will greatly benefit our students, workers, and residents who rely on this route every day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improved roads translate to safer travel, better accessibility, and more opportunities for growth and development,\u201d Mayor Yap said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, residents of Barangay Taloto are also benefiting from the completion of the road concreting project along O. Zamora Street, which has significantly improved road conditions in the area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is expected to provide safer and more comfortable daily travel for motorists, students, and residents, particularly during the rainy season when road conditions are often more challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Yap said both projects are part of the city’s broader Tagbilaran Urban Development Plan, which focuses on strengthening transportation infrastructure, improving connectivity, and supporting sustainable urban growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She emphasized that the projects were fully funded by the City Government of Tagbilaran, highlighting the city’s commitment to infrastructure development while maintaining its distinction as a zero-loan city since 2013. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThese are concrete projects with tangible results\u2014projects that our people can see, experience, and benefit from every day,\u201d Mayor Yap said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe continue to prove that responsible fiscal management and meaningful development can go hand in hand,” she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
