(rvo)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>THE performance of the Land Transportation Office in Bohol showed that registered vehicles have decreased but the issuance of driver\u2019s license and its collection increased during the first four months of its operations, according to the consolidated and comparative report obtained by the <strong>T<\/strong><strong>IMES<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LTO 7 regional director Victor Caindec announced this during the official inauguration of LTO Driver\u2019s License renewal Office located at the Island City Mall. The office reopened after almost two years of the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performance report bared that there have been a total of 44,803 vehicles registered in 2021 higher than 41,737 during the same period in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Cebu province, the registered vehicles slightly increased from 301,530 in 2021 to 302,144 in 2022 during the said period (January-April).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Negros Oriental, the registered vehicles has also reduced to 446,190 in 2022 to 49,015 in 2021 and 6,071 in 2021 to 6,768 in 2022 in Siquijor province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This brings to a total of 401,419 down to 396,839 registered vehicles in 2021 and 2022, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Driver\u2019s license issued in the province increased to 20,591 in first four months in 2022, higher than 6,574 in the same period in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Cebu, 43,730 to 123,052 driver\u2019s license issued in 2021 and 2022, respectively; Negros Oriental, 4,742 driver\u2019s license in 2021 and 18,581 in 2022; Siquijor, 435 in 2021 and 3,396 in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Revenue collection here has also gone up to P66,485,280.20 in four months operations in 2022 than P59,787,454.57.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also increased is the number of apprehensions conducted from 212 in 2021 to 806 in 2022 in Bohol. In Cebu province apprehensions totalled&nbsp; 10,646 in 2021 and 7,484 in 2022; Negros Oriental, 1,220 in 2021 and 172 in 2022 and Siquijor, 169 (2021) and 73 (2022) of the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bohol has Jagna (actually it\u2019s located in Garcia-Hernandez town) district office, Tagbilaran City district office and the offices of Talibon extension, Alturas and Island City Mall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also present during the inauguration are LTO director for West National Capital Region Atty. Clarence Guinto, assistant director Glen Galario, Tagbilaran City LTO registrar Yvonne Auza and other registrars in the region.
