Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap earns an \u201cExcellent\u201d +90 net satisfaction rating in the latest 2026 Bohol Poll conducted by Holy Name University Center for Research and Publications from March 28 to April 21, 2026, with 93 percent of Tagbilaranons expressing satisfaction with her performance, reflecting strong public trust and approval of the city\u2019s leadership.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

CITY Mayor Jane Yap received an \u201cExcellent\u201d +90 net satisfaction rating in the latest Bohol Poll 2026 conducted by the Holy Name University Center for Research and Publications, with results showing strong public approval of her performance as city mayor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the recent survey, 9 out of 10 Tagbilaranons, or 93 percent, said they were satisfied with Yap\u2019s performance, while 4 percent were undecided and only 3 percent were dissatisfied, resulting in an excellent net satisfaction rating of +90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poll, conducted from March 28 to April 21, 2026, also showed that Yap posted a 99 percent awareness rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest figures also reflected a sharp rise from the mayor\u2019s previous ratings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her net satisfaction score stood at +79 in April-May 2023, remained at +79 in March-April 2024, dipped to +65 in March 2025, and then climbed to +90 in the latest round of polling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vice Mayor Adam Relson Jala also posted strong numbers in the same survey, receiving an excellent +76 net satisfaction rating, with 96 percent awareness and 79 percent satisfaction ratings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Yap said the survey results reflected the trust and confidence of the people and credited the outcome to teamwork within City Hall and the support of Tagbilaranons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are deeply grateful for the trust and confidence of the people of Tagbilaran,\u201d Yap said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis recognition is not mine alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the result of the collaborative efforts of the city government, our dedicated public servants, and the unwavering support of the Tagbilaranons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are truly thankful, and this inspires us to work even harder, stay focused on programs that respond to the needs of our communities, and continue delivering public service with sincerity and results.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the mayor\u2019s personal ratings, the Tagbilaran City Government also received favorable marks in several governance areas in the same poll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The city government scored +83 in implementing class suspensions during typhoons and other weather disturbances, +82 in ensuring adequacy of drinking water, +76 in protecting life and property, and +71 in protecting the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest poll results came as the city government continued to implement programs on crisis response and local economic support in the midst of the global energy crisis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
