K to 12 Curriculum has been introduced in the school year 2012-2013, to maintain K-12\u2019s continuity, the Kindergarten Education Act of 2012 and Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013.  Teachers experience a range of emotions when a new curriculum is introduced. On the one hand, it arouses curiosity and excitement. Teachers see it as a chance to enhance their methods and give their pupils more significant learning opportunities. In the classroom, creativity can be stimulated by the updated material and contemporary methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This change is also accompanied with anxiety and uncertainty. Teachers may find it difficult to adjust to new methods, tools, and standards. Managing daily responsibilities while upholding standards is often a source of stress. Implementing changes quickly without sufficient assistance or training can occasionally cause irritation. There might occasionally be resistance, especially if employees feel the changes were made without sufficient preparation or involvement. Frustration might arise from inadequate support mechanisms, such as training sessions, educational materials, or clear guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite these early difficulties, a lot of school personnel positively shift toward cooperation and adaptation. SDO Bohol initiated division-led activities, thus teachers start exchanging tactics, encouraging one another, and coming up with workable ways to carry out the curriculum. To facilitate the transition, school administrators arrange training sessions and offer advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the positive and constant support of the top management, the challenges, gaps, and problems were gradually responded. With appropriate training programs, monitoring, technical assistance provision, the new curriculum was delivered as expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers have their own way of expressing their feelings and concepts with the new trends of educational journey. Oftentimes, they do it through social media. How excited they are with the learning experiences, new strategies, modern contents in the delivery of the basic education services required as a teacher. They expresses their aspirations in their opportunities for their personal and professional growth. In the introduction of the new curriculum, teachers have mixed emotions. Sometimes, frustrations might be felt, especially, if they could not meet the expectations. The main reason why, there are school administrators and supervisors who are there to provide technical assistance ans support for the implementation of the revised curriculum.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
