Ang HB 838 ang \u2018revival of the 19th Congress HB 10079\u2019 nga maoy pinakalayo nga naabot sa pag-overhaul sa Midwifery Law kon diin sa 19th Congress, naaprobahan kini sa Kongreso sa 3rd Reading ug na-transmitt sa Senado niadtong Mayo 20, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSwift passage now will give the Senate more than enough time to approve their version of the Midwifery bill. They can approve their consolidated bill during the second regular session if they choose to. The Senate has three midwifery bills\u2013all authored by minority senators.\u201d \u201cI, therefore, appeal to Senate President Tito Sotto, Senator Ping Lacson, Senator Raffy Tulfo, Senator Loren Legarda, and Senator Risa Hontiveros that they adopt the midwifery bill the House will approve on third reading, so that the Senate majority will   have   its   version   that   can   serve   as   the   Senate\u2019s   working   document   for consolidating their chamber\u2019s different bills into one substitute bill.\u201d suma pa ni Congw.
