CAMPING is one of the core methods of Girl Scouting. It provides experiential learning opportunities that cannot be fully achieved inside the classroom. Through outdoor activities and collaborative tasks, Girl Scouts learn essential life skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In line with this mission, the GSP Bohol Council will conduct a Provincial Camp that gathers Girl Scouts from different districts across the province, on March 6-8, 2026, at Danao District, Danao, Bohol. The camp serves as a venue for meaningful outdoor experiences, skill enhancement, teamwork, and values formation. It aims to strengthen camaraderie among Girl Scouts while promoting discipline, self-reliance, and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Provincial Camp will feature various activities such as leadership training, survival skills workshops, environmental stewardship projects, cultural appreciation activities, and team-building exercises. These activities are designed to holistically develop the girls physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, while fostering unity among scouts in the province of Bohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In preparation for the coming three-day camp, a Staff Meeting was conducted. The agenda presented are: camp objectives, general information\/guidelines, camp central staff job description\/duties\/responsibilities, sub-camp groupings, program of activities, camp services, daily time schedule, waste management, camp clearance, and awards to be provided. The camp staff meeting was presided  by Ethelinda S. Laguitao-Camp Director for Junior Level and Dr. Gregoria B. Dabalos-Camp Directors for Senior Level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two of the Council Board Members attended the meeting, Emma C. Castillo-Council President and Soniaflor V. Kapirig. They give important inputs and suggestions for a productive and successful camp. PSDS Juvy D. Ayenza PhD, Virginia Lofranco-DFA, with the chosen school leaders and teaching force from Danao District attended the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Provincial Camp is organized to: strengthen sisterhood and unity among Girl Scouts in Bohol, provide a platform for leadership and skills development, promote environmental awareness and community involvement, reinforce the Girl Scout Promise and Law through practical application, and encourage independence, resilience, and teamwork among participants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
